Honoring Our Heroes
On Veterans Day and every day, we salute the courage, sacrifice, and service of those who have worn the uniform of the United States.
Each year on November 11, Americans come together to recognize Veterans Day — a day dedicated to the brave individuals who have served in the U.S. military. It’s a moment to reflect, to say thank you, and to honor those who answered the call to defend our nation.
Veterans Day reminds us that freedom is not free. It’s safeguarded by generations of men and women who have stood watch on battlefields, in the skies, and across the seas. Whether they served in times of conflict or peace, their contributions form the backbone of our shared national story.
Across the country, communities will mark the day with parades, ceremonies, and moments of silence — small gestures of deep gratitude for those who have given so much.
As we honor our veterans today, it’s also important to recognize the other military observances that help us remember the many faces of service throughout the year:

From those who fought on distant shores to those who stood watch closer to home — to every veteran, we say thank you. Your service has protected our freedom, strengthened our nation, and upheld the ideals that define America.
May we never take that sacrifice for granted.
